Marketplace launch support, before the first listing goes live.

A marketplace launch brings product information, packaging, pricing, inventory and fulfilment into one place. Yuvika helps founders prepare these connected pieces so a listing can be supported by a workable operating plan.

Choose a channel around the product

Start with the customer and the product category. Compare how customers search, what information they need to buy, the expected delivery experience and the cost of serving the channel. An own-store launch, a marketplace launch and a quick-commerce application are different projects.

Eligibility, fees, documentation and product restrictions vary by platform and can change. Check the current official seller requirements before building your launch plan. A platform’s appearance in our commerce directory does not mean we are an authorised partner or that your brand will be accepted.

What launch preparation can include

  • A channel-readiness review against the product category and stage.
  • Product catalogue structure, SKU organisation and listing information.
  • Brand-consistent titles, product descriptions and image requirements.
  • Packaging, label and barcode requirements for specialist review where needed.
  • Pricing and contribution planning using current channel costs.
  • Inventory, warehousing, shipping and returns-process planning.

The exact scope depends on whether you already have a finished product, an existing seller account and approved packaging. Seller-account ownership, bank details and sensitive credentials should remain under your control.

Build a listing that answers real buying questions

Use a consistent product name and describe the features a customer can verify: what is included, dimensions, materials, intended use and care information where applicable. Avoid unsubstantiated health, performance or comparison claims. Check that the images and packaging match the item that will actually ship.

A catalogue should make variants clear. Size, colour, pack quantity and other differences need a consistent naming and SKU structure. This reduces ambiguity between the item a buyer selects, the inventory you hold and the product the fulfilment team sends.

Price the sale after fulfilment and returns

Map the product cost, packaging, channel charges, payment costs, shipping and expected returns or damage. Keep taxes separate in the model and have the treatment checked by a qualified adviser. A listed price is not the same as the contribution left after an order is served.

For launch planning, define stock ownership, replenishment responsibility, shipping cut-offs and a process for resolving returns. Agree how you will review the initial results, such as listing completeness, stock availability and the economics of fulfilled orders. Onboarding support cannot guarantee sales, rankings or platform approval.

What to share before planning your launch

Send your product category, current catalogue, packaging status, intended channels, inventory position and target launch market. If you already sell, share which part needs attention: catalogue consistency, pricing, fulfilment or a new channel. We can then scope the work around that specific gap.
